I still want your wife to randomly stuff Sorbothane inside her clothing and walk into your audio room to see if you can tell a difference. It should be a blind test but I would also want you bound and gagged for the heck of it.😜
Geeeez man, what'd I do to you (today)? You'd make me endure an entire afternoon of "Does the sorbothane make my butt look too big?" 🤣

I was going to say that Cowgirl is 30 minutes from my house, but... if you have an alternate supplier, I'll bow out... <g>
Unfortunately Cowgirl Creamery have closed their retail shops (Ferry Building in San Francisco, and Point Reyes Station), which had a wide variety of cheeses from many sources besides their own. Their cheese making continues and is sold at food specialty shops and also at Whole Foods (at least in the Bay Area). I crave and pick up their triple cream Mt Tam on a fairly regular basis.

Perhaps you have your Pratchetts and your Adams's confused?
Two of my favorite authors. Still find it sad that we won't get any more books from these master story tellers.

Nice! Very nice as usual..

I showed my wife your latest pix of the boards u make..she said "Wow!"

She would hate to use them they are so beautiful!

Birthday is coming up in June, 75 yrs!
Hmmm...

A new dac (the YGGY GS) or a MJ3 Class A classic...???

:>)
Alex
IMHO, for completing the bathroom remodel alone you should reward yo'self with Yggy+ GS2. And the MJ3 for b-day. remember to order separately, so the GS2 doesn't sell out before the MJ3 ships... Btw, had a chance to listen to a Yggy A1 vs my Bifrost Multibit 1 (using my Jot2 and planars) and Yggy's reputation is well-earned.

I know, I thought it was somewhat obvious that I was paraphrasing. I can still watch the Red Green show on some app on my TV. I tried and after all these years it lost a bit of luster for me. You can't go home again. (title by Thomas Wolfe).

There are some questions you should never answer. Hunter S. Thompson used to ask a particular candidate if he stopped beating his wife yet, yes or no?

You hang around Cowen too much, some of his ways are bound to rub off. I really think he was raised by wolves. Romulus, Remus, and Bill.🤪
Is there a vaccine for that? 😁

... I also believe in something called trained hearing. ...
We "audiophiles" all suffer from trained hearing. We hear something we like, we try to replicate it. Non-audiophiles are happy as long as they can hum along.

My hearing is very trained since it's been defective from birth. Only way I can understand someone is to hear them multiple times. Confirmed by an audiologist...
