lol this is how it starts, then you are buying tube boxes, cleaning swabs, a tube tester, and searching your house for an empty closet for tube storage.
My solution to that problem is to use Qobuz to learn about new music, and then buy the albums I like, mainly as digital downloads. I have a Qobuz Sublime annual subscription that gives good discounts on downloads, but I also (actually, mostly given the music I listen to) go to Bandcamp and find the album there. It may be a bit pricier, but more goes to the artists, which for me is important. As a last resort I buy CDs and rip them into my network of servers (I have servers in 3 separate physical locations that are kept in sync with Syncthing so that I have the same music available when I get to those locations).
• Ebay, Brent Jesse Recording, Tube World Express, Langrex (U.K.) .....
• Why the 'long plate' 12AU7? To my ears, it sounds better than same brand short / regular / unspecified plate 12AU7.

Playing the new Willow album with Valhalla 2 into the Focal Elex. Tubes are CV455 KB/FB Brimar Triple Mica 1956 & Foton 6N6P Gold Grid tubes. Thanks to @Ripper2860 for the suggestions on the tubes. Yes Willow Smith. Yes it's good. Features Jon Batiste and St Vinent on a couple of tracks.

That's Stage 2. Stage 3 starts when you have boxes appear on the front porch containing tubes you don't remember ordering, buying identical tubes on Ebay 'cause you forgot you already have some in the stash, and tube rolling becomes a 3-month long task to roll all 104 tubes that can possibly work in the component.
Actually that last part is more Stage 4-ish 'cause you bought 27 adapters in Stage 3.
