I definitely want to check out the Kraken, and I will have another look at SYN. I do not mind solid state for TV and it is a little late in the game to teach my wife about tubes. I would be happy to hear any thoughts on Syn from those of you who use one.

I frickin' love mine. The system I use it in is easily the most "fun" in the house. Not the most detailed, transparent, system in the house, but easily the most fun.
