It seems that the Asgard 2 and Project Polaris are two solid state amps that offer very good sound quality for the money. Yet there is no obvious comparison between the two amps.
In fact, most comments about the Polaris are about 'flexibility' not about sound quality / signature. The Asgard 2... Some people say it is warm, some that it is bright.
What about gathering some info about these two killer amps in this post? It may help others in the future!
I think I want to find reasons to prefernthe flexibility of the Polaris, but put that flexibility into context with the sound quality!
