I am teaching a workshop for teen aged kids in my area. I want to tell a story I remember hearing, but I cannot find it anywhere.
The story is about a guy who saves and saves to go on a cruise. He cannot afford the food on the cruise so he brings bread, peanut butter, and jelly enough for the entire trip. Every day all of the passengers go to the cafeteria and enjoy all sorts of lavish food. Every day he goes back to his cabin and makes himself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. After several weeks of this he cannot stand the taste of his sandwiches nor the smell of all of the good food everyone else is enjoying. He goes to the cafeteria and states that no matter the cost he must buy some of that good food. Come to find out the food was included in the cost of the ticket and has been free the entire time!
I would be most appreciative if someone could find this story in its entirety on the internet somewhere.
