Hi
I've got broken SB X-FI oem (sb0670). When I change something in equalizer or turn on eax, there is a popping or complete gibberish sound. Maybe someone know what part can be broken or is there a chance to repair it ?

Are you using the drivers that come in the CD by any chance? What is your operating system?

Well, Creative drivers are notorious for being crappy, so make sure you're using the newest possible drivers. Here they are.

Remove the actual first, try to remove garbage from Windows and System32 directories if you know what you're doing and then install the newest.

I'm using XP and Vista on Abit kn9 motherboard. This problem occurs on both systems. IRQ of soundblaster is described as shared but other devices don't use that IRQ. I tried from older drivers to the newest beta, also Youp-Pax drivers. Between each installation I removed garbage using Driver Cleaner.

Please explain your set up.

Are you using an external DAC or AMP?

Are you connecting headphone directly into your card?
