I'm gonna try to make this quick guys. I was running and my foot caught on the cable while still connected to my receiver. Luckily it wasn't the oem 1/4 adapter as it may have damaged my receiver, actually I have no way to know if it did or not. Anyways, it flew out of the jack and actually bent the tip and cracked the plastic on the mini jack of the 700's.
My main concern, is if the jack is salvageable. I like how it connects seamless with the 1/4 adapter and would like to keep this feature as I use my fuse with the phones regularly.
So, has anyone been able to keep the stock mini jack when doing a re-cable or anything like that? If not, can someone point me in the direction of a connector that has this same feature or at least some very nice minimalist ones. Thanks, peace.
