Just got me a portable headphone amp for my Sennheiser 238 and am wondering if I would get better sound if I used a decent LOD with my Sansa Fuze, instead using the headphone out into the headphone amp. Been looking for some LODs and have read that for 'best' performance the cap in the LOD needs to be upgraded.
Since I don't need an LOD with a fancy cable (I do have a decent short phono to phono cable) I was looking at one of the LODs without a cable like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Line-Out-Dock-LOD-Adapter-For-Sansa-Fuze-MP3-Player-To-Headphone-Amplifier-/271202448081?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f24ecf2d1 and wondered if it would be a good alternative. I only say military grade cap, so I am not sure what cap they are using.
Therefore my question: Does anyone have experience with one of these LODs?
