ljokerl, that should have read 'general public IN Asia'. I will be in Singapore and Malaysia in December, and I will definitely be looking a lot more closely at the players on display in the various 'non-tourist trap' malls.

I was simply parallelling estreeter's post to make a point, removing the "non-" from "non-asian". No offense meant.

And I am sure that you will find sandisk players in Singapore, just pay attention to their prices compared to ipods their asian competitors

I think QVC here in the UK is selling the V2, only problem is they have sold out of the black version! Argh, think I'll just wait a little bit longer and see what else comes out later.
