Hello everyone,

I just picked up this portable am/fm radio and the reception seems to be pretty good, but I am getting terrible background noise with all bands (am/fm/tv). The noise is very audible even when the volume in tuned all the way down.

Does anyone else have one of these? If so, does your's hiss like mine?

Yes. The DT-200V has a very "hissy" output. Using an inline volume control at the headphone out to reduce the hiss might help.
