I am planning on picking up an 8GB Refurbished Sandisk Sansa Fuze from Tigerdirect.ca. What are my chances that it will be a V1? (So I can Rockbox it

)

Also, my friend has a50$ iTunes giftcard, if he buys songs, can he put them straight on the Fuze without converting?

I bought a fuze off tigerdirect and get a v1. However someone else reported the same and got a v2.

it is a hit or miss. Best thing is to call Tigerdirect and see if they could check for you.

Customer service @ TD told me that they cannot check.

I ordered a 4GB from newegg.ca, should be here on Monday. I'll let you guys know what firmware I get.
