Whats this like anyone? Focusing more on SQ and UI? I understand its a tactile button interface, as opposed to the YP-P2's touch screen approach, but how does it compare to the P2 (again SQ wise, I'm mainly interested in)?

YP-P2 is DNSE 2.0.
YP-Q1 is DNSE 3.0.
Of course, DNSE 3.0 is better version than 2.0.
but you value SQ version.

It looks like a fake Sony player, but w/crappy specs. I've heard the YP-T9, so I bet it does sound fantastic tho!!!

For me there is a problem with the Q1...it's the lack of external buttons for volume. The tactile lights are a bit annoying for me but you can cope with.

DNSe is the best custom EQ system I've heard.
but I've not heard DNSE 3.0 yet.
I actially expect 3.0 version.
