Sorry if this exists already. But looking to move on from my iPhone 6 because of the volume limit you get on it with the Sennheiser Momentum Wireless HS. I've tried the HTC One M9 and the audio is good but the battery life is so poor on the phone so sent it back!

I've heard good things about the Xiaomi phones for audio quality but just wondering if anything thinks or knows if the Sony Z3 or Samsung S6 performs just as good?

Neither will be as good as the dac & amp in the M9. I agree that the battery is poor, but it is the best I've heard. Z3 is slightly better than the S6, but neither I found to be all that special.

OK cool thx, maybe a custom ROM or firmware will sort out the m9

HTC M9 with snapdragon 810 sucks.

 
neh, it really doesn't. the M9 is faster, better, and overall just a nicer looking phone than any samsung product i've held in my hands

I've tried Z3 and Samsung S5, both are really quite poor. The Oppo N3 is good, I'm hoping to try the Xiaomi, Meizu and Vivo phones, will let you know...
