Thought id share a rexent experience. I have recent been using the note 8 and s8, outputting directly into iems. Both have dacs capable of 24/192 on board and whilst not as good as via a decent dac, its ok for train commutes.
Anyhoo, recently usb audio player pro has been freezing when trying to play 24 bit flacs. Recent problem. I dropped (the fantastic) support guys at audio evolution an email and they got back with a fix (forcing 16 bit playback only).
I was told that "I guess it's just
the dreaded 32-bit floating point bug that Samsung has in the most
recent devices since their Android 7 update".
Apparently raised with samsung etc but thats the issue and the fix. Hope this helps others.
