I'm using the YP-P2 with a pair of beyer DT231 and occasionally DT660/2007 when studying. A couple of days ago I checked the sound of my trusty old U2 against the P2 and actually found the P2 to sound WORSE than the U2. This was all fixed by a reset of the P2, making them more similar in sound characteristics. If anything the P2 has a slightly better bass then the U2, but lower output power (the DT231 are hungry for portables).
Anyhow, thought we could share what settings we use on the P2, since there apparently are some P2 users in this fourm. I don't entierly understand the relationship between the Master EQ (sounds cool, like in a propper PA system), and the DNSe EQ. I really don't like the whole DNSe thing, and I find the P2 sounds sweet out of the box with everything set to zero.
With the DT231 i still tweak the Master EQ like this :
+1 +1 0 +2 +1 +1 +2
Anyone ealse got tips on the P2 ? I'm also looking for a good pair of earbuds for the P2, and concidering the AT700 ones and tye Yuin2's.
