A friend of mine wants to use his e2c with his Samsung Blackjack. I told him to get an adapter that works like an iPod dock connector, terminated with a female 3.5mm stereo connector. I linked him one here and he said he tried that, but it was "junk".

So, is there a good quality dock-type adapter that won't cost him a lot of money? Remember, he's not like us, so no $100 options please. Just a functional, reliable adapter, in the $10-$15 range, if one exists.

I tried to find one and the one I found was junk. I wanted to use it to listen to Sirius which I can get on my Blackjack. The sound coming out was horrible. If your friend comes up wth something that works, let me know.

Why would I tell him that? There is such a thing referred to as 'value'. In case you weren't aware, there are things that are inexpensive and perform far above their cost.

Expensive doesn't always = Good (Examples: Bose, Monster)

Nor does inexpensive always = Bad (Examples: Koss KSC75, Grado SR60)
