Safe to keep a Nano in back pocket?

See topic title, just wondering if it's safe to keep an iPod Nano (2nd Gen, not that that makes a difference) in the back pocket of my jeans.

I don't see why not unless you sit down with your iPod in there.

I wouldn't risk it. Aluminum is hardy and scratch-resistant but it's still flexible and would probably bend under the pressure.

Unless you're not doing any sitting, of course.

only if youre 70lbs, which isng likely.

i made a small crack for my sennheiser plastic case. everything that isnt solid get change shape or something happen to it back there. its quite possible to damage it.

it might be possible if you have a 2ft long back pocket, then your butt will not directly press on the nano.

Don't.
I've read on message boards of a fair few people who manage to bend their nanos by sitting on them.
There's a limit to how thin you can make a gadget before it becomes too delicate.
