I've been noticing it for the last week or so, a slight crackle here and there. But with a jossle noise would come back to normal. Now it's gotten much worse, I can hardly hear anything coming from the right side and jiggling and jossling doesn't do a thing. My Etymotic ER-6 has died on me.

It's the right side especially, but I've noticed a slight drop in overall volume also. Sometimes there will be audio, but most of the time there is just crackling or no noise whatsoever. Is there anything to be done? Does etymotic do repairs on the cheap, or am I going to have to go and scrounge up some new phones? Anyone ran into this before? Gees guys, I really love my Etys. I don't want to get rid of them just yet.

Could be filters, really.

I had the connector plug die on my ER4S. Does messing with the cable at either the plug end or the driver end have any effect? How about twisting the mini-plug in the socket?
