Michael Jackson has died.

See details here. I'll have to raise a glass to him tonight.

I heard about this earlier, and I am really sad.

He was a great guy who will really be missed.

Tonight I plan on lifting a few in his memory.

RIP Beer Hunter.

Indeed it's a sad day not only for beer connoisseurs but also single malt scotch connoisseurs. Michael along with publishing his beer hunter's guide, also published an exstensive guide to single malt scotch and was a regular contributor to Whisky Magazine. He will be missed.

I've had the pleasure of meeting a couple times at brewers conferences, and have a few autographed books. He was a great beer writer, and a wonderful story teller as well. He will be missed.

Time to head down to the cellar for a special beer. I have an artisanal framboise that has been cellaring for several years. I think tonight is the night.

I don't think it's that Michael Jackson.

I hope he already knew that and was making a joke. One that I've heard for years.

It's sadder yet when a person dies at such a young age with so many more decades left to enjoy hopping from Pub to Pub.

Very sad.

This guy is totally unknown to me.
I'll keep on drinking and enjoying beer as ever before...
