I will keep that one in my mind.

I may have one for sale quite soon. I accidentally bought one off eBay a few days back, due to the awkward bahavior of an eBay sniping service that would not cancel my snipe in time. It will be a type I model with the S-shaped tonearm and a Shure V15 III with brand new stylus. Let me know if you are interested.

For me nothing compares to vinyl. I have both SACD and vinyl.

SACD excels at doing everything better than Redbook and gets the sound technically right. But it still sounds digital and flat.

Vinyl takes a lot of effort, is impractical as all get out, and will have anomalies like creaks and cracks, etc. But it just sounds completely organic and addicting in comparison to any digital format. While digital seems flat (tubed players help to alleviate this), vinyl sounds very 3D with palpable sound.

This is the way I feel about it.
