Hi

I keep reading here about the benefits of 24/96 audio resolution. I guess SACD and maybe also DVD-A support this but I've never read about a software-player for these formats. Found that a little strange as good sound-card also offer this kind of playback-resolution. Long story short, here's some questions:
Are there software-players ?
Where can I get demo-sounds in 24/96 to check out the quality? Would be nice to know whether this stuff is really worth getting into

Thanks

To my knowledge only Audigy 2 comes with software that lets you play DVD-A disks. M-Audio Revolution has hardware support but no software - they claim digital rights management issues and say they'll release player for a small fee once they get rights to do that but it's been half a year and still nothing.

SACD is even worse since there are no optical drives capable of reading SACD disks. It's unlikely there is going to be one in the future.
