I've been looking around and cannot find if the micro usb on the Cowon S9 can be used as a line out. Also, if it can be used in this way is there a cord that can be used to connect to the D4 Mamba or D2+ Bo?
Or, with the S9 am I limited to the mini jack out and if that is the case, how will it work with the iBasso amps?

Would the DAC feature of the amps even be usable through the mini jacks?

No, the S9 does not have a line out at all. And the DAC of the D4 is only useable with computers AFAIK, if you wanted to use a dac with a portable player you'd need one with digital optical or coxial like the D10.
