Hi All,
 
Kindly ask what is your recommendation for portable amp to complete RWAK 100?
I use IEMs such as AKG 3003, Fitear 334, FAD PF IX and X.
 
Listening to all sorts of music from Jazz, Punk, Rock, Classical, etc.
In a near future, I am trying to get either Fostex TH900 or ATH-3000ANV for home use.
 
I look to several amps and got recommended to try ALO International, ALO Continental V3, Pico Power.
I was thinking to try out several tube amps but there are not many.
I like airy, full bodied sound but not too aggresive.
 
In the past I use Jeff Rowlands, Audio Note, and Gryphon amps for home use but new to this HeadFi.
 
Any inputs would be greatly appreciated!

If you are going to use an amp make sure its output impedance is less than 1ohm

The ALO International has an OI of around 21ohm which makes buying an RWAK100 for its 1ohm to get rid of the AK100 20ohm, then stacking with the International at 21ohm defeats the purpose.
Vicious circle of woe.

i used to have stock ak100 -> pico slim->se535 red.
 
it's good, but not as impressive as expected....

I have used all these amps before, my favorite was the Gryphon from the antileon onwards....
 
I would recommend an Intruder /71b with a balanced 001 cable to the ToGo!334

Thanks for the inputs, i will take a look at suggestions.

@ExpatinJapan, I look at the charts and wonder the impedance relationships between DAP, Amp and IEMs. I guess the RWAK 100 limit the porential amp i can choose.

Any general concensus or inputs what are the best low impedance amps that go well with RWAK?

I thought the whole point of the RWA mod was to eliminate the need for another amp?

The idea is to add some flexibility and mixing things up with various IEMs and future TH900
