I am looking for a new source to replace that muddy and edgy iPod in my current commuting rig:
iPod Classic 5.5 Gen -> ALO cotton LOD -> SR71A -> Z1000/T5P/HD25-1
They need to be compact so iMod without any external cap seems to be the best choice. These are not for serious listening but I do need some transparency and instrument separation, or those chamber music could sound boring; a bit colouration is fine and fun.
Can anyone comment on the sound signature of RWA iMod? Does it fit my needs?
