In the comments section of this video someone said that Zara ( the singer's scenic name) looks like Kim Kardashian. Zara's real name is Zarifa Mgoyan ( she is Kurdish). So ethnically she is very close to sisters Kardashians whose father is Armenian.

A pretty girl with a strong voice Olga Bogart. That is enough to include her in that thread. Again it's a dramatic song, a safe bet for women singing in Russian.

I double SEREBRO for fun, however they do have some very nice tracks as well http://serebro.su/ , but some others, which are not really pop, like: Moral Codex http://moralcodex.ru/main/  and Vladimir Kuzmin http://vladimirkuzmin.org/ are very regarded and need to be seen live with good / their own equipment, not during ****y all in one concerts, where lots of bands are playing and the sound is horrible indeed.

Here are a little more of pop:

Sure, every country has its own singers. Pop scene is changing very fast. Those names which were popular like 10 years ago could be no longer in favor. For example you mentioned Vladimir Kuzmin. He is not popular anymore.

True, pop is very changing and only few are good, but many are nothing special and come and go very fast.

I saw Kuzmin live, not that long ago, and it was outstanding performance. Not many, so called pop stars, can do 1/5 of what he can. I don't associate him with pop at all, at least for the music he can and not must play to make his living. Thats why the popularity is a very tricky thing, but when it comes to live show, all getting pretty clear who is who. Problem is, lots of guys who can do something good, doesnt get their time on radio or TV at all, its just outside of criterion and nobody cares.

There is something american in her manner of singing. Put English words instead of Russian and it could be an Christina Aguilera's song. Тина Кароль.

If you want to know how the phrase "for you" ( для тебя, dlya tebya) sounds in Russian then you should listen to this song. Annie Lorak repeats this phrase like 20-30 times during the song.
