I own a Shure SRH 750DJ, and I really like them. Yesterday however, I accidentally rubbed off some of the gold paint on it, so that the white plastic beneath the headphone is showing. I want to repaint the area rubbed off, what type of paint should I use for painting plastics? Should I just bring it to an auto-shop to be repainted (seems fussy for such a small area), or does Shure do cosmetic repair for a price?

Also anyone have an idea what color I should use. It seems to be champagne gold.

TIA

Old post, but I'll replay. Use paint from a can, like graffitti paint. And for SQ's sake, cover everything electrical/important, like the pads, the jack entry, everything
