Anyone have any opinions on which one is the better amp?

Both amps sound very good, but one costs over twice as much. Depending on where you reside one amp will be more convenient should it need to be repaired.

Currently I have the T5, I have listened to the Shadow once so I cannot compare them.

Reviews are just opinions and we all hear differently. The T5 is inexpensive enough you could buy one and if you do not like it sell for not much of a loss. Or you could wait and buy it used.
 
As far as these two units there is quite a bit of difference in price that makes a comparison unlikely IMO. I like Ray's portable amps and Ray IMO has also been good to the community. If you would like to hear the Ray's house sound there are a couple of his portable amps (used) for sale here for $200 and $175.

The Shadow will have better shielding from GSM RFI noises. 
 
Sound signature would be different for both. 
 
Not sure if you're just starting out or a professional audio engineer. It does make a difference on how you choose.
 
Starting out : listen to both amps over a few times and decide which you LIKE better. 
 
Audio Engineer : listen to both amps on your test track and mentally decide which is closer to your reference monitors.
