Hey everyone, I was just curious as to which of these 2 amps produces better bass response with high impedance headphones, like the sennheiser hd line. I'm looking for more punch than just a lot of bloat in the low end. Thanks for the help!

I don't have a Move, but a HeadSix which has a similar sound. I use the HeadSix with phones that benefit from a brighter sound (on high gain) than to provide a low end punch. The bass extension is good, but it lacks the bass presence of the RSA house sound.

I've only auditioned the Mustang with my IEMs, and with my UE-11 it does provide a deep bass without bloat. The Mustang can also add a little brightness on the high end (more so than the SR71a) in my limited experience.

I wondering which of the $200-$300 range portables have the most quantity/quality bass.
