plain and simple, using an rs-1 out of a source like an ack dack or a similar dac, what are the characteristics of the rs-1 with an ra-1, and with a gilmore light or v2, and ultimately, which do you prefer? i will get around to auditioning and listening for myself, but wuld like opinions from those who have listened to the combination as well.

different pads really require different systems.

most likely flats, and i just realized this is in the wrong forum! my apologies to the mods.

RA-1 = lacking in high frequencies = fits bowl pads

will probably be too dark with flats. i have a PPA and i think that it's still a bit dark with flats..
