HI i have the chance to get a Roth setup the KH2 sub with a pair of Oli 2´s for around £130 all in (thats less than half price)

Do you think this will be a good deal or should i spend a little more and get something like the Edifier S530D for £180

Any thoughts on if the sub will be good as this would seem to olve the lack of bass of the speakers...

Thanks allot, and would the Oli 2´s need an amp, i was planning on running them from my Titanium HD soundcard?

The Oli 2s are passive bookshelf speakers and need an amp to drive them

Haha yeh i just found that out after posting lol :frowning2:

Do you think getting a  wharfedale diamond SW150 subwoofer used and some active bookshelves like the M-Audio AV40´s or BX5a´s used would be better than a Edifier S530?

Thanks allot mate

Hmm actually a really solid/good musically inclined sub isn't cheap so i would also consider strong pair of floor standers that won't make u (horribly) miss the low freq that much and when u do fork out for a sub, go for one that would add great value to your audio set up

This sub does retail for £250 over here in the UK and gets good reviews...http://www.whathifi.com/Review/Wharfedale-Diamond-SW150

I have found a used one or £90 thats a year and a half old so seems like a good deal to me.

However Im not sure if i should get something like a T AMP (dont know if you can get them in UK but heard there good) and passive speakers or active ones like the M-Audio AV40 or Edifier 1600T plus with  £100 budget

Not sure if i should start a new thread with a more appropriate title...
