Ross Stores (USA) Deals Thread - Who Got What and Where

Re. the EB950's....Oh, and not only won't they control android devices. Anything not an i-device requires the included adaptor that is a little bit obtrusive. But the sound is totally worth it especially for the price Ross is selling them for.

Can you post up some impressions on those things at some point, doesn't have to be all fancy schmancy audio snobbery type of review, just what you think and hear.  That's be great , no pressure.

Sorry, I just bought one as a gift. Recently purchased some Logitech ue6000s, and I love them, so I didn't pen the box.

Just the iPhone and other later gen I-devices.

That is not entirely correct. The middle button works great on my Note II, the same can be said about the controls on ue 6000s. I have the middle button configured for single, double, triple clicks and a long press, love it.

I came out of lurking b/c of this thread. I picked up a pair of the st800s in Melbourne FL (business trip) at a Marshall's for $40 around the 12th. I really was looking for the ba200s. I must have been to at least 12 different Ross stores. Today I found a pair of ba200s at tj Max for $16.99. Keep trying. I think they are still being delivered. These were right on the front of the rack.

I went back to all of the Ross stores I had previously found the TDKs at and did not find any more, of any model.  I went into one TJ Maxx but all they had were a bunch of overpriced Skullcandy and Sonys.

Yup. My Ross looked like the headphone section had almost totally been cleaned out. Not that they had a ton of TDK's to begin with but even the ****ty brands were really picked over. Guess it was good while it lasted. And with the rumors of TDK moving to sport and/or low end 'phones this may have been a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Same here, just EB900 at TJ Maxx for $17.

Same experience here. A ton of TDKs originally, now, basically junk at the Ross and TJ Maxx I checked previously. May check back occasionally but maybe this ship has sailed.

Are you in Seattle by any chance? Trying to figure out if it would be worth it to go to the Northgate mall TJ Maxx and see if they have anything good.

Okay thanks. I might give the TJ Maxx store a look tomorrow unless anyone else has been there looking for deals.

EDIT: Went to the Ross and TJ Maxx at Northlake mall in Seattle. There were maybe three IEMs in total between both stores? Total disappointment.

I may go to the stores in downtown Seattle and see if they have anything good, unless anyone has been to them already?

Poked my head in the local Ross and they had two TDK BA100 in stock that weren't there a couple of months ago. At $24.99 I didn't take them.

But it indicates there may be more TDK inventory hitting Ross, TJ Maxx or Marshalls in the future.
