I'm a long time Plex user with a Pass.

PlexServer is great but I avoid the Player has it lacks features and quality is not on par with UAPP, Neutron or other player.
I asked the team about this point but responded it was a bitperfect player so I did not insist.

Not sure how Roon place itself in this setup as it goes much further in features set.

I'm listening to bit perfect playback using UAPP streamed via the dlna server in Plex. Works great on my Pixel 6 pro (now that Google fixed USB audio in Android 12) with a THX Onyx.

I have Plex Pass (I purchased the lifetime option) and roon.

Plex is strictly for video and my roon handles the audio (flac files)

I used Qobuz to stream music while I am outside of my network, but now Roon 2.0 supports streaming!!
