ive had Mac minis before and easily upgraded to 16gb of memory. Well I stupidly purchased an open box 2015 Mac mini with only 4gb of ram for stupid cheap from Best Buy... only to realize they saughter the memory in now! I didn't even think to look until way past my return period. Anyways, I've been successfully running Roon Server mainly just to stream Tidal Hifi at the moment. Eventually the plan was to set up a proper NAS server (Synology or QNAP). I don't have a huge file library so it would most likely not be a huge drive. Please someone offer me another solution rather than selling my current Mac mini for pennies and buying a capable one! I'm really happy with the setup right now, no issues at all (dropouts etc), but I need ot to grow with me.
