Just received mine.
Box is sealed with sticker says SR325i, but the engraving on the earpad says SR325...It's gold in color, is that correct?

What would the old SR325 looks like? I googled it..but cant really tell.

Yes.

What would the old SR325 looks like?

I believe it has a silverish, pewter-like finish. There are lots of images of both floating around this forum (and the internet proper).

its gold and it has no "i" on the button only "SR325" so you have the right headphone dont panic.The old one is silver.

dj_mocok has taken some great pictures of the Alessandro Music MS-2, which are based on the SR-325. Just replace the "Alessandro Music Series" with "The Prestige Series" and imagine there is a centre button with SR325 on it
