Roland AIRA M-100

Just browsing a local music stores site, I came across this:
 

 
It's called the Roland AIRA M-100 and it appears to be a regular V-MODA M100 with the XL pads and different cables and the large case (for whatever reason it has the clickfold mechanism, maybe they used it because the M100 doesn't like folding with the XL pads)
 
I wonder if the sound is tuned differently or the same as a regular M100?

I'm a bit surprised there's not much talk about these pretty much anywhere.

My impressions: Compared to the original M-100s these are notably more neutral, even a bit more push on the treble. The bass has a lot of impact still, but it is a lot more subdued (not boomy) and perhaps more precise.

Generally, I prefered the original M-100s both in construct and sound-wise.

According to V-MODA the sound is the same.
