I'm looking for suggestions for an alternative headphone to my 600's. I use these for classical but would like an alternative to the Sen sound. If I want to rock out with techno and stuff I'd like a lower impedance kicken headphone. I have the new V3 so an amp won't be a problem. AKG's don't fit so I need some others. Thanks!

I suppose I should clarify a bit. Rock/Techno is the opposite of classical and I want a headphone with more bass extention at lower impedance. If the Grado's are in that realm then I'll check them out.

look for a set of used Grado sr225's or perhaps consider a pair of allesandro ms-1's

I would say go used 225's. Never listened to the MS1's, but if you don't mind used, I still think that the 225's are better. You can definitely pick them up for $150 shipped, and you described them to a T in your opening thread.

new MS-1 or used SR225. you never know folks, some people just can't handle used cans. i can, but that's beside the point.
