With the resonate, we went for a more traditional sort of fit, as well as something that will please everyone. Whereas the Kommand was a much, much larger earphone with the movable hook, the Resonate is much smaller and can be worn as a standard earphone, or upside down with the cable over the ear. Also, with the detachable cable, users can attach a cable with earguides, something thinner, or whatever they want really. 
 
We tried something different with the Kommand, but realize with the large size of the IEM as well as the hook not being the softest of material, we decided to go for something that would suit more people, and suit them better!

So, a lot of people found the Kommand to be a sort of U-shape with lots of bass and then even more treble. So this time around we tried to go for more detail, not necessarily more treble, and we calmed down the bass a little bit, and made sure that it wasn't quite as boomy.

Not had much of a listen and would be unfair to comment too much until I have burnt them in, but early listen was encouraging. Am happy with my purchase so far.

Build quality and comfort are good (wearing them up and down) using the large foam tips provided.

Would agree with the U shape. Have swapped over to the gold filter for now which for me still has nice levels of bass. Sub bass reach is excellent Massive Attack's Unfinished Sympathy rumbles nicely. Looking forward to seeing how good these get after burn in
