Rock bands that do Acoustic albums

I'll second what Ingo said. It was actually the first time I heard of the name Collective Soul and this acoustic album sounded awesome. I tried listening to their other work but it didn't work for me. This is a perfect example how an acoustic album can sound so much better than the bands other work (of course just an opinion).

One I could also recommend in this thread is the acoustic gig by Chris Cornell, Unplugged in Sweden. It has great sound and his cover of Billie Jean is just sublime. I don't know if this has been released as an official album though.

Collective Soul - From The Ground Up

I like Collective Soul but I'm not a huge fan or anything. This album is, however, excellent.

Oh yeah...I can't believe I didn't mention that in my previous post...one of my favourite albums.

Seether - One Cold Night is currently my favorite album. Very nice acoustic/live performance. Well recorded also.

Tesla - Five Man Acoustical Jam

Very fun and laid-back performance, decent sound quality.
