I've decided to buy some IEMs for day to day use, I can't get on with most headphones I've tried due to comfort issues, which is a shame as I prefer the sound. I want something robust as I seem to destroy earphones in a few months. I enjoyed owning Fidue A73 for a year before they broke, recently I've had **** 4in1 which I like, but the cables despite being replaceable seem to die in a few weeks. I know the sounds I like, see below for headphones/earphones I've liked/hated, but I need something robust, ideally with replaceable cables that don't cost the earth (e.g. Shure). I'd look at IEMs without replaceable cables as I can probably solder on the transducer/speaker myself.

Headphones:

- Sennheiser HD600 (by far and away my favourites, I'm keeping these are they're relatively comfy)
- Beyerdynamic DT880 (great sound)
- Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 80ohm (good sound, bit on the bassy side for me)
- Yamaha HPH-MT120 (good sound)
- AKG k240 (OK)

Earphones:

- Sennheiser CX300II (Too bassy)
- **** 4in1 (really good for the price, liked the sound)
- Shure 315 (hated the sound, no bass, hollow and boring)
- Sennheiser IE8 (OK)
- Fidue A73 (Loved)

Recommendations?

Cheers guys!
