This thread is not about the merits of if zombie is good, or if zombie copies
Hm, not sure what to think. If your a fan of Zombie in all forms, it's his style I'm sure more then lyrics, b/c well.. they are just something to go between his hooks and sound.
About halfway through listening to Educated Horses, it seems a lot... tamer, for lack of better words. Almost a bit more melo, less angry jams. Guess it fits with the cover being a decent picture of Zombie cleaned up, instead of Rob in costume.
It's still distinct Zombie, in form and voice... but it seems very similar throughout to his previous song "Never Gonna Stop." One slighty new twist is some "clean" sound. Meaning a couple songs don't have the distorted industrial sound he normally has. Instead it is clean instrumentals.
"Death of it All" is one of these. Not sure what to think so far. Defiantly seems like the his direction is either changing some, or this is an experiment.
