I currently own a Terratec EWX 24/96 and I have a chance to get a RME DIGI96/8 PAD for a farely decent price. Is the RME DIGI96/8 PAD that much better than the Terratec EWX 24/96? I would be using it with a Singlepower PPX3 and Sennheiser HD 555's (I'll be getting the 650's eventually).

Unless you're getting the RME for a bit less than $200, do yourself a favor and get the EMU 1212M instead, you won't be sorry

Are E-MU 1212M cards really that good? They are really hard to get so I am probably going to by a M-Audio Delta DIO 2496, which supposedly has really good optical out signal quality.

Unfortunatly, not many people on these forums seem to mention them.

the E-mu 1212m is the most highly reccomended card on this site as of right now....I'm willing to bet that means it's pretty darn good! As such, I'm organizing a group buy, if you're interested.... $165 each!

Just check the thread I made for more info!
