Howdy headfiers... I just threw on a livecd of Ubuntu and noticed that sound coming out of this card just doesnt have that treble kick that it does out of foobar and the like in windows.

I was wondering if anyone has stumbled across this issue with ALSA (I was using XMMS as well) and whether a solution was found.

Thanks a ton.

Do you know if your distro has dmix enabled? dmix tends to force resampling to 48KHz, which could cause the problem, I guess...otherwise I don't know, don't have one of those cards.
