I posted this over at productionforums, but I thought I might get a quicker answer if I asked it here.

I've had a 0404 for a couple of weeks now, been happy with it so far. Anyway, I went to benchmark the card in RMAA 5.4 and got results lower than what others have been posting, take a look:
(I've tried using directsound, mme, and wdm, all same results of all scores, I've also tried it with and without the normalization checked)

16 bit/44.1
Frq. resp +.09, -.05
Noise Level -91.4
Dynamic Range 92.0
THD% --------- .0012
Intermodulation .0071
Stereo Crosstalk -92.8
IMD (swept freq.) .0078

Looking at intermodulation for 24 bit, it seems that the 16 bit intermodulation is unusually high:

24 bit/44.1
Frq. resp +.09, -.05
Noise Level -105.4
Dynamic Range 105.3
THD% --------- .0004
Intermodulation .0018
Stereo Crosstalk -105.0
IMD (swept freq.) .0020

When creating my own session I get the following:

16 bit/44.1
Frq. resp +2.57, -19.65
Noise Level -96.5
Dynamic Range 95.8
THD% --------- .0008
Intermodulation .0046
Stereo Crosstalk -98.5
IMD (swept freq.) .0063

Looking at this, its clear that freq. response is way off. 24 bit has the same freq. response results, with everything else being much better. Looking at the graph, its a roller coaster, with certain frequencies rising in db, then falling again (probably from the test wav file played through the sound card). Can anybody tell me how to setup RMAA 5.4 correctly? Thanks.
