Well recently having switched from listening to a cd player to listening through a DAC, i've been ripping a lot of cd's lately. I know that cd's are 16/44.1, but i was wondering if there are any benefits/negatives to oversampling while ripping.
Thanks,
Owl

No, you shouldn't resample, most decent dacs have their internal resampling routines, if you really feel the need to resample, plenty of players can do it on-the-fly, resampling during the ripping phase is just wasting hard drive space and you'll regret not keeping an original set of rips.
