Hey guys,
I'm thinking about getting a 30gb ipod video, but I have a question. Is there any way to rip my dvds onto the ipod without buying Quicktime 7pro? Is there anything I can download for free? And if there is, can you reccomend me some good programs...Thanks so much

I use Video Cleaner Pro; costs money though, but so well worth it.

I also use Videora iPod Converter; free, although the page hasn't been updated in quite awhile.

Also, iirc, this type of question belongs in the 'Portable Audio' forums, right?

I use either Videora or Jodix Free Ipod Converter and both seem to work very well. For jodix go to Jodix.com.

I've been wondering... how much time does it take to encode a full dvd movie of ~1h30? to ipods res of course (320x148?)
