i have version 2.12 firmware iriver on my rio 250. i can play Snake on it!! there are levels and everything. there are lots of options on it too. you need to hack the hex file if you dont have version 2.00 or later though... go to hotbot and search for .hex hack iriver rio along the lines of that and there will be some links on how to do it. or i can send the files to whoever wants them by email or on here.
