.6" think is important though. Thinness really matters to go in your pocket.

It also comes with Sennheiser MX300 earbuds. Well that's not very common.

Karma's FLAC support is nice. Parametric EQ, ethernet, line outs! This thing sounds like mini monster!

I'm trying not to get too excited. The wallet is tickling....

That Rio Karma does look very tempting. It just may be able to compete with the Ipod and njb3.

hmm...millions of features...terrible sound quality...or

...thousands of features...and good sound quality,....

I'll take the Iriver one unless somebody buys the rio and tests it, my sp90 had worse than abysmal sound quality!!, the 30 dollar magnavox one has better sound quality, and the msrp for the sp90 was 100 bucks!!

yeah, "rio" is a very untrustworthy company, they have had 3 or 4 owners!!!!...and they're customer service is just like sony's for computers, really bad.

Wow, they really did it. I wasn't sure they were really going to release the thing with FLAC (and OGG) support. This is going to make alot of people happy. I also like that auto crossfading feature. It could be a great unit. I'm just worried about the sound. Does it really have an RCA line out jack? That's just incredible. I also happen to think it looks great. This player really makes me want to get myself an HDD player.

I think it looks great as well. It looks small, what are the Ipod's specs in comparison?

[edit] Ipod's dimensions I mean

Flac support is nice...

But if it doesn't sound good then what's the point eh? :p

I'm seriously going to consider buying one, but not after hearing some GOOD reviews from trusted people...
