The Revo is said to have better analog out than the Audiophile 24/96, but the Audiophile 24/96 has a better digital out. I make these statements after reading impression from users who have used and compared them both in these configurations.

I have both and to my experience the AP24/96 has better digital out. If you clock your AP24/96 externally, it can sound even better.

but what do u mean by clocking externally?

AP24/96 can have it's master clock set via it's internal crystal or from the clock signal coming from the coax digital in. If that external signal is cleaner, the sound should be better since.
