REviews on Audio Technica CK7 and CK6?

anyone has the Audio technica CK7 and CK6? could you share your thoughts on it? thining of getting either one to compliment my um2 with custom molds and to match my new ipod shuffle. haha. anyone anyone?

i have the ck7 ... my thoughts.... its has very good bass but thats all.when i compare them to my pk2 i start to thinking "Shall i sell them??" they cost $99 but i dont think the deserve them..if u like u can ask me more.....

I have the PK2s and the CK7s and I disagree with that statement. The PK2s have a better soundstage and treble (CK7s can be a little shrill if you're not used to them), but I wouldn't say the CK7s are bad. In fact I picked them over UE's Super.fi 5 Pros and the CK9s :p

I would take the CKM50 over the CK7 personally. They are quite similar, but the CKM50 lacks the edginess that the CK7 sometimes displays. Bass is also slightly more laid back on the CKM50 and the midrange is slightly more open.

Comfort is where the CKM50 really wins out though, it's probably the most comfortable canalphone i've tried although isolation does suffer a little for it.

CK7 is practically bang for the buck if you can get them for less than like under $80 USD. I suggest looking at other brands besides AT. If you are heading towards CK7, you may want to look into Etymotic ER4 or ER6.

Considered those-but were over $100aud, and not available at a Queensland based Apple reseller.
