REVIEW: Sennheiser CX 985
Jan 24, 2013 at 10:11 AM Post #31 of 35
Just wanted to let everybody know that I ended up buying the CX985 for myself. The new pair sounds just as good as I remembered, and I finally got to see the new carrying case! Some minor issues, though: 1) the packaging only included one small and 2 medium pairs of the extra bass tips (no large pair), and 2) came with a defective shirt clip that failed to swing open until it broke in half.

Piease help me, I very much like sennheiser cx985 and I want to know can I properly use this headphone with my sony xperia acro s and nokia n8. Plz help me, thanks in advance.

Not sure what you're trying to say here. The CX985 doesn't have a mic (only analog volume control), so there shouldn't be any issues.

Anyway, I've made a post on the batch error involving the carrying case. We want to make sure that all owners of CX 985 get well taken care of. Here's the link to the original post:

Hi Vladimir_F1,

The article number for the carry case is 545779. You may check with the nearest Sennheiser service center on its availability.

Cheers!

I never did get taken care of :)

Always on order from the factory but US never got the missing case in I guess. My dealing with Senn outside of the US have been great but Senn here in the US(esp. parts dept.) have been, at times, lacking.
